Transfer Money From Personal Account To Business Account Rbc

Using Online Banking, you can easily transfer money between your RBC Royal Bank accounts in Canada and your RBC Bank accounts in the United States.

Getting started with the service

In order to transfer funds between personal accounts with RBC Royal Bank and RBC Bank, you will need to:
Have personal banking accounts with both RBC Bank and RBC Royal Bank
Enrol in Online Banking with RBC Royal Bank
Enrol in Online Banking with RBC Bank
Enter your activation code for both your Online Banking and Online Banking accounts
Sign up for Single Sign in, which allows you to view your Online Banking (RBC Royal Bank) and Online Banking (RBC Bank) accounts in one online session.

Eligible accounts

You can transfer money between your RBC Royal Bank Personal Savings and Chequing accounts in Canada and your RBC Bank Personal Checking, Savings or Money Market accounts in the United States.

At this time, this service is only available for personal accounts.

You are limited to $25,000 per transaction regardless of currency. For transfers greater than $25,000 up to $100,000, please contact 1 800 769 2553.

Making a Transfer

From the Online Banking Home page , select "View all account balances" or "View business accounts"
Choose the type of account you wish to transfer from, by selecting either the "RBC Royal Bank" or "RBC Bank" tab
Select "Pay Bills & Transfer Funds" from the "Self Service" menu
Enter the amount and currency to transfer
Select the account to transfer from
Select the account to transfer to
Click "Submit"

You will be given a conversion rate based on current foreign exchange rates. This rate will be held for five minutes. RBC Access USA Preferred Service account holders receive a preferred foreign exchange rate.

Upon confirmation of the transfer, the funds will be immediately available in the destination account.

There is no additional charge for this service. Your regular account service charges will apply.
